The model for this sculpture was my husband's 90 year old aunt. She was the perfect image I wanted to convey of the genteel, iconic Southern lady. She was a fun model and even posed in a bathing suit. Aunt Polly often said that it was the highlight of her life to be immortalized in bronze!
