Parker was the commanding officer in the first battle of the Revolution, the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 1775. The figure portrayed is an actor playing the part of John Parker in a reenactment movie that is shown at the museum. I went to the site of the reenactment and documented the actor, his period clothing and all of the equipment he was carrying.
